There are four possible causes to this problem:
- The document is marked as final.
- The document is protected.
- You are using a trial of Office 2007.
- Office 2007 has not yet been activated.
Document is Marked as Final
You will also be unable to paste into the document. If you hover over the Paste button under the Home tab, you’ll get this error message: “This command is currently disabled. This command is not available because the document is marked as final.”
The rest of that error message also points us in the right direction.
Click on the Office button (the circle with the office logo on it in the top-left corner) and go down to the Prepare sub-menu. In this sub-menu, you’ll see an icon next to ‘Mark as Final’ highlighted in orange. This means that it is enabled and the document is “finalized.” It won’t allow any changes to the document. It would be best practice to mark your document as final before you send it off to others for professional evaluation. This also makes the red (spelling) and green (grammar) squiggles under words go away as well as any marked changes throughout the document.
Besides the ‘Mark as Final’ icon being highlighted in the Prepare sub-menu you will also notice a small version of the same icon at the bottom of Word 2007 in the status bar.
In order to make changes, the document just needs to be “un-finalized.” Go back to the Office button -> Prepare menu and click “Mark as Final” to toggle it off. After that, the icon will now appear unhighlighted and the icon will be gone from the status bar.
Document is Protected
If you are still not able to edit the document, it may be protected. Switch to the Review tab and then hit the Protect Document button to bring up a small menu.
From that menu, choose Restrict Formatting and Editing.
Next to the document, a little window should pop up. If at the bottom, you have a Stop Protection button, click that. If you don’t see that button but instead see a ‘Start protection‘ button, you can close this little window. This setting is not the one locking your document. You may have to enter a password in order to modify the document. You’ll need to know the password in order to stop this protection.
Your trial of Office 2007 has expired.
If you’re using Office 2007 that came with your computer, likely it was only a trial and has expired. Try opening your document in the free Open Office or purchase a full version of Microsoft Office 2007. “If you have the Office Home and Student 2007 Trial preloaded on your computer, you can purchase the disc version and use the product-key to unlock and activate the preloaded trial.”
Office 2007 has not yet been activated.
If you’re seeing the problem in both Word and Excel, the problem is obviously Office-wide. Office 2007 may not have been activated.While you’re connected to the Internet, go to the Office button in the top-left corner and choose Word Options from the bottom of the menu.
From the new window that pops up, choose Resources on the left-hand side and then click the Activate button. This should either activate Word, say it’s already Activated (meaning this isn’t the cause of your problems), or provide more information about why it isn’t and can’t be activated.

Ok, trying to do an automatic upgrade from 2.7 to 2.7.1 and after logging in it says:

I found two fixes which involve adding a line to the wp-config.php file. I added both and the plugins update fine now. I need to try it on one of my installations to see if WordPress itself will auto update. Here are the lines to be added to the config file:

It should not be this difficult to figure out WordPress. Please add a variable that we can fill in the settings. Then we know which directory needs the additional permission.

Check your internet speed

Task1:
a) Go to User Account Control Settings. Type in UAC, or go to the System and Security applet. Click on the "Change User Account Control Settings" link.
b) BTW, you can also type in this command from the Run menu: C:\Windows\System32\UserAccountControlSettings.exe
To turn off UAC, move the slider to the Never notify position, and then click OK. If you're prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
Task 2)
1) In WIN7, goto Start > Control Panel
2) Click on the 'Trouble Shooting' option on the Control Panel
3) On the Trouble Shooting Computer Problems window, click on 'Configure a Device' option under 'Hardware and Sound'
4) Hardware and Devices dialog appeared. I clicked on Next button
5) On the next page, a message appeared that my WIN7 is not configured (may be for security reasons) to download drivers automatically and install. Rather it was configured not to install and driver!
6) I selected the option of automatically downloading the driver and and applied the change.
7) Rebooted my machine
8) Inseted the USM Modem of Reliance Netconnect BB+. On the lower right panel, a pop up appeared displaying 'Installing Drivers....'
9) I installed the software from the data card and then invoked the Reliance Netconnect window.
10) Now I could see the singal on the window and was able to connect.
I hope that this procedure should work guys having problem using NetConnect with WIN7 prof.

Though the chief minister explained his position on the mining issue to the party president (Nitin Gadkari) late Wednesday, Yeddyurappa has no alternative than to step down in conformity with the leadership’s decision,” Eshwarappa told reporters here.
The first chief minister of the BJP in south India rushed to New Delhi late Wednesday to brief Gadkari and other party leaders on the Karnataka Lokayukta’s (ombudsman) final investigation report on the multi-crore mining scam in the state over the years.

Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara Hindi Movie Review:
Javed Akhtar’s magical poetries, impeccable performances by the cast, scenic and serene Spain, and a message, Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara has all the ingredients that will hit the right chord with the audience.
Zoya Akhtar’s film is about three friends; Kabir Dewan (Abhay Deol), who runs a family owned construction business and is just about to get married to his ladylove Natasha (Kalki Koechlin); Arjun (Hrithik Roshan), a financial broker who lives to earn big bucks and peacefully retire after the age of 40; and Imraan (Farhan Akhtar), an advertising copywriter, a playboy who is looking for his estranged father. They make a pact in college that they will go on an escapade before either of them ties the knot and would indulge in three adventure sports. Whatever one decides the other two have to abide by. And there on starts their exploratory road trip.
As the title suggest, the film throughout is about overcoming your fears and live life like there’s no tomorrow. Arjun’s fear of Scuba diving, Imran’s fear for Sky Diving and finally the San Fermin festival, the Bull race to get over the fear of us all, Death are just ways to remind us to live life to the fullest. The Tomatino festival, Senorita number, Arjun falling in love with Laila (Katrina Kaif) and all the adventure sports are added attractions to enhance the cinematic experience of a viewer. Farhan Akhtar is stupendous with his comic timing and one liners and also astounds in the sequence he meets his dad Salman Habib. Hrithik Roshan is a natural stunner and sure this kind of a mesmerizing performance was expected from him.

By and large, after graduating from school/university, before one steps into a fresh phase in life, friends do settle on having some fun… It could be an extended bachelor party. It could be an excursion. Living each moment to the fullest is what most of us are thinking at that point of time. ZINDAGI NA MILEGI DOBARA is also about living each precious moment, as if there’s no tomorrow. It’s a film that also deals with surmounting and overpowering our personal fears. In this case, it changes the lives of three youngsters who embark on a road trip to Spain.
Zoya Akhtar represents the new brigade in Bollywood. But the talented storyteller is mired in controversies pertaining to ZINDAGI NA MILEGI DOBARA. Is it similar to HANGOVER? Or is it a present-day adaptation of Farhan Akhtar’s directorial debut DIL CHAHTA HAI?
Sure, ZINDAGI NA MILEGI DOBARA is a buddy film like DIL CHAHTA HAI or like any other film that focuses on friends. But comparing DIL CHAHTA HAI and ZINDAGI NA MILEGI DOBARA won’t be correct. For, the difference lies in the fact that the individuals in both the films face diverse problems. Aamir, Akshaye and Saif’s dilemma is different from that of Hrithik, Farhan and Abhay. Perhaps, people tend to draw parallels between the two films because both focus on male bonding and are also produced by the same production house [Ritesh Sidhwani, Farhan Akhtar]. While DIL CHAHTA HAI was about the friendship between three youngsters and the individual journey each of them undertakes subsequently, ZINDAGI NA MILEGI DOBARA is poles apart in terms of content [screenplay: Reema Kagti and Zoya Akhtar] as well as execution of the written material.
There’s concern that ZINDAGI NA MILEGI DOBARA caters to the urban centres of India chiefly. People beyond the metros wouldn’t be able to relate with the goings-on. Sure, ZINDAGI NA MILEGI DOBARA is a refined film, a metro-centric film primarily, so what’s wrong with that? Yes, it’s unlike the masala films some of us relish with glee. But if masala means entertainment, amusement, hilarity, escapade, emotions and drama, yes, ZINDAGI NA MILEGI DOBARA has it all. Only thing, it’s treated differently. Everyone has his/her style of interpreting a tale, after all. ZINDAGI NA MILEGI DOBARA is real and can be rightly termed as a slice of life film. The protagonists don’t play ‘heroes’ in the conventional terms; they are not presented as larger than life here. Zoya’s ability in bringing offbeat elements in mainstream cinema needs to be applauded and appreciated. Zoya understands the intricacies of human behavior, which was evident in her debut film, and ZINDAGI NA MILEGI DOBARA strives to impeccably integrate authentic characters and bona fide situations on celluloid.
But the film is not without its share of blemishes. To start with, the drama is missing in the first hour. In fact, the first half comes across as a collage of some well executed sequences. Also, the comic scenes fail to evoke mirth. The three protagonists’ attempt to scare strangers in a restroom, bar and on a lonely street doesn’t gel well with their suave personalities on-screen. However, if the intention was to evoke laughter, sorry, these scenes fall flat. Besides, mocking at Doordarshan seems out of place and also appears in poor taste. Most importantly, the first half comes across as a showreel to promote Spain Tourism.
